Erêmía
2026
Erêmía brings together photographs taken in Paris, Berlin and Copenhagen between 2019 and 2026. Through my wanderings in the city, I try to make visible a feeling of inner melancholy that shows through the people and objects I encounter.
The cold, glossy surface of windows, the saturated interface of my smartphone screen, locked fences: so many borders between me and the people I pass in the city, like a fundamental impossibility of reaching others. In a mirror image, in these dense urban spaces, other people’s bodies seem to me side by side and yet strangely apart.
Between closeness and absence, Erêmía offers a brief passage through this feeling in four sequences of visual poems.
