Bio
Jade Rossi is a photographer born in 1995 and based in Paris. With no prior artistic training, she has been developing her practice since 2025 at the Centre Jean Verdier, where she is following several programmes of artistic research and technical training.
Her work explores social, environmental and intimate subjects through different photographic approaches. In Erêmía, she observes the physical proximity, in urban space, of individuals who nonetheless remain isolated from one another. In Et nous brûlons, she turns to a more perceptual photography to convey the sensory experience of heatwaves.
Her main ongoing project looks at the traces left by her Vietnamese grandparents’ exile in the 1970s and at how they have been passed down through the generations. It combines documentary and sensitive photography with a biographical investigation based on interviews and archival research, questioning photography as a means of passing on family and collective memory.
